The Digital Summit seeks to accept 60 students worldwide. Spots will be offered to students upon evaluation of essay responses and achievements to date. CV upload is optional. Applications are now closed. (Application for the YLD 2021 Summer Cohort will open in March.) We strongly encourage you to apply sooner rather than later as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
YLD Funding
Many candidates who are offered a place will require some form of financial assistance. We are committed to ensuring that the financial burden of participating in YLD 2021 does not discourage the brightest and best applicants from applying to our programme.
In order to be considered, you must indicate the route through which you are applying. We consider financial assistance for successful applicants at three levels.
Level 1 - 90% Fee Waiver | Total fees £84
For students who are currently receiving need-based aid from UK schools such as subsidised meals. If you fall within this category, please complete the following document, tick the appropriate box, and upload it to the button labelled 'Financial Aid (Optional)' upon submission.
Level 2 - 50% Fee Waiver| Total fees £420
For students attending schools that are publicly funded by the State or Government irrespective of country. If you fall within this category, please tick the appropriate box upon application submission.
Level 3 - Full Fee | Total fees £840
For students attending tuition-paying schools (i.e. any fee-paying, private or international school) and wishing to be considered for financial aid, please tick the appropriate box upon submission, and upload one letter (300 words maximum) describing your unique circumstances. Upload this document under 'Financial Aid (Optional)' upon submission.
