What is the cost of the 2021 programme?
The delegate fee for the Young Leaders Digital Summit 2021 is £840. 50% fee waivers are available for students who are currently enrolled in a government-funded or state-sector school. Your eligibility will be determined by our organising committee if you are admitted to the summit. We may contact your school to verify your status.
Do we get a certificate for attending the programme?
We provide all delegates who attend the summit with a certificate of completion. For those students who excel during the two-week summit, we are also able to provide a letter of recommendation.
What are you assessing in the application process for the Summit?
We believe that great leaders are well-rounded individuals that have skills in a variety of areas. We will be looking at your academic achievements, but will also take into account your extra-curricular activities, passion for participation, and anything else you want to tell us!
Is there an application deadline?
We assess all applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Places for the Summit fill up quickly. As aspiring leaders, we expect delegates to be proactive and have good time-management skills. We therefore encourage you to apply early to have the best chance of acceptance to the programme.
I have sent in my application. When should I expect to hear back?
It typically takes between 2–8 days for your application to be assessed. During some time periods, we may be processing more applications than our bandwidth allows so please bear with us if there is a delay.
What age groups can attend the summit?
The Summit is aimed at students aged 15–20. For students outside this range, we can accommodate exceptions in special circumstances. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
I am a teacher and my school would like a group of students to attend. Are you able to accommodate this?
We have hosted many schools at our summits before and are happy to organise this for you. For large groups we can also tailor part of the experience specifically for your students. Please contact us if you would like more information about this.
How many students will be in each group and how will we work together?
There will be 4–5 students in each group for the project work. You will be working remotely on a project based around one of the Sustainable Development Goals. This project will test your ability to lead, work in a team, and cope under pressure. With a changing environment, this will also give you the opportunity to learn new skills about how to effectively work remotely.
How do I reach out to you if I have other questions?
If you have any further questions, please write to and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
